Starter motor getting to hot as so close to turbo?? Basically - battery has been re-located to the boot so as things get hot you need more amps to get the same voltage. The solution is to run a second cable from the battery to the starter motor - so I'm told. Harry had the same problem on his car, and this was the solution they used.

THANKS NEIL!!!! new exhaust on Land cruiser is now quiet and no rattles and second visit was to get rid of my Engine check warning on the R8 I knew I was risking it starting and stopping the car three times without driving her.

007 VXR said: Did you order new spark plugs ? Not as yet no, I may go for the Platinum this time as it means I have to change the copper ones which are in it now every 10k which I have done already since fitting the plugs copper ones are good but not if you do lots of miles. Will have to have a read up and find out what heat range platinum plugs I need, platinum plugs that I changed at 35k they have a very fine point to them.
