On the track laps. It sounded quite bad by all accounts. I hope all are ok and the cars are repairable.

Anyone know whose Sag got damaged? I heard no one was injured at least.

No further news yet, other than the Aston was apparently a DB4 with a caved in rear. Makes you wonder whether added track day insurance will cover this, as it was on the track in front of the pits, not the road part. Values on DB4's in the region of £220k, just a tad more than Sag's! Unfortunate and very, very sad for those concerned. My heart goes out to you guy's.

Never like hearing about these things. One thing when it happens on the road, with insurance at normal speeds, but on track its a different kettle of fish.

Ouchy. Yes, one reason why I wouldn't be jumping to take my cars on the track. At least everyone was ok though...

The heart attack from the assault on the bank balance comes later

Looks from the pics like it is a foreign registered sag? German maybe? Red sag, hardly seems scratched whereas Aston looks very badly damaged.

Yes, it was owned by one of the French TVRCC members.

French Sag damaged front and rear, DB4 very badly damaged. TVR fault, one of very many accidents.

I'm sure this is the french Sagaris which blew up his engine last year at the Continental Meeting on the track with the result of a badly damaged T350.
The french car had whitened Dunlop Signs on the side of the tyres and a white sticker above the side indicator...

So, if you see the car next time, stay away ;-)

For a second there i was worried that it was the Sag i have just bought from Tony at HHC.

i knew he was down there this weekend and mine is the same colour. i had this horrible gut feeling that i'd turn up this Saturday to pick up the car and find it in bits frown

i now realise that it's french and that no (sensible) salesman would ever abuse a car they had just sold tongue out

If yu see THIS:

stay in the pit lane. As Olli mentioned. This was the reason for four other damaged TVRs in Zolder 2011. Driver should think about his abilities/if he got the right car.
