I've never owned a BMW, but isn't the boot a silly place for a glove box?

What a sad, sad thread. Slowly but surely each part of this forum seem to be declining with sad, angry and often just not very bright people. The bloke isn't English. The bloke has had a s t day. The bloke has been robbed. The bloke is clearly on a tight budget so the breakdown is a hassle. The bloke is asking for help. A lot of people are choosing to deliberately misinterpret exaggerated wordings.

Managed to drive to work today, but the ball joint at the throttle cable can be easily disconnected by itself if I touch it. The workshop next door will have a look after lunch. Also managed to cancelled my debit card this morning, still unhappy with the Natwest service as they should have it sorted on Saturday itself. Now, it got me thinking whether I should get a new car.

A lot of people are choosing to deliberately misinterpret exaggerated wordings. To be fair, people do often use the 'new thread' button before typing the querie into google. I think that creates a bit of anger sometimes. I know it annoys me. I think this chap is getting flack because of his poor choice of thread title. Simples. Breaking down is a PITA. No doubt about that. Someone pinching your wallet at same time as helping you move a car is also quite harsh. Some very dihonest people out there

I think in these situations it's the abuse of trust that hurts more than anything else. Hopefully your faith in humanity is restored shortly

Now, it got me thinking whether I should get a new car. If you're in Bolton, I'll pop over and have a look if you want me to . And I'd say it's cheaper to do 'running repairs' like your car needs - if your car is otherwise reliable - rather than spending money on a new car (I'm guessing still secondhand) that may have other faults you don't know about but will cost you money as well. It's only when the car is going wrong every month and costing you money every time that perhaps it's time to change - in my view anyway .

I tend to half agree with the term 'running repairs' because the car has costing me a lot of money. Things like arm bushes, and etc. but I guess that is normal when you have a car right?
