If he could have stayed fit all those years, you'd have sold him to united like the rest. Head and shoulders above Carragher, say what you want about us selling him on to a top club, at least we know that club wouldn't have been Liverpool as its a "has been" outfit that has seen its best years. Lets us know what mid tables like next year won't ya  ETA, despite ledley being a spurs legend I gaurantee a couple of the Arsenal mob will also comment on what a fine player he was, its called class mate, something thats hard to find near the Black Stuff.

Cracking player when fit, his influence on the Spuds was laid bare in the stats. Shame he's got nothing on his mantelpiece to show for being such a great player. I hear he's got a cracking DVD collection though

Best player I've seen at Spurs, and easily the best defender England have ever produced. His injuries were ironically Spurs' gain, and England's loss. He'd have left Spurs a long time ago if he was always 100% fit!

Never seen him play, so in my eyes yes. King was as good as Maldini. Shame he only got the recognition in close quarters at Spurs

I think the problem with comparing great players from the past with current players is that the game is so much faster now. How will we ever know wether the greats from then would be as good if they had been playing todays game?
