you can eat as many eggs (including yolks, which contain all of the beneficial nutrients) as you like without affecting any cholesterol levels in your body:

As long as they are not all you eat you will do yourself no harm by eating 4 eggs a day. I am on the same low carb regime too. Breakfast is 2 rashers bacon 1 slice of steak sausage and 1 fried egg. If I replace the fried egg with scrambled then I might use 2 eggs.
I'm toying with a carb reduced diet. Bread is the killer as it's my breakfast. But bacon and eggs for brekky might hep.yum

A dozen a day if I am in the mood for it, but I may already be dead so don't pay any attention to me.

The problem with that is the bacon (and many other processed meats, such as sausages) which contains sodium nitrite which isn't particularly good for you and quite widely publicised.

3 plain old chicken eggs, scrambled with some chopped up spicy German sausage and some cream+cottage cheese. Protein fest.

why don't you eat the egg yolks? They contain most of the nutrients in an egg.

all my nutrients & essential fatty acids come from other sources, if I eat all the yolks i may as well eat all the pies wink I'd be somewhat portly to say the least eek

I use egg whites as a good form of cheap protein, that's it.

through experimenting I've found that I need 220 grammes of protein a day, that's difficult to do unless you get a good amount in with each meal, my body struggles with exploiting more than about 30 grammes in one sitting, that means 7-8 meals a day, this in turn means that I need some simple, fast, transportable ways of eating that dont impact in a negative way on my/our lives nerdsmile
